FSX Assistance

Hiya all thanks for letting me join the airline erm I was wondering how do i get passangers onboard I followed the site instructions of being at a gate having the door opened i was waiting 10 minutes and noone boarded the plane lol. Any ideas please.

Hi BW007, did you enter the correct tail number for the plane you where using also did you have the correct flight number for the flight plan?

All tail numbers for our fleet are found in the fleet section of AFTS.(simfly.eu home page)

The flight numbers are found in the schedules section.

Anymore problems give us a post.

I wrote this on friday, it might help.

1)
Make sure you are signed up for the server @ http://www.SimFly.EU.

Click here; http://www.simfly.eu/afts2/index.php?action=ShowAllAirlines
And find "LinkUk Virtual". When found, click "Join Airline". If you dont see this, make sure you are logged into Simfly before trying to join Smile

When you are logged in and your VA joining request has been accepted (may take an hour or so), you will recieve a confirmation Private Message telling you have been accepted into Link VA.

Go back onto the AFTS ( http://www.SimFly.EU/afts2 ) and a "Schedules" page will appear. Decide which schedule you wish to fly, write down the number and open FSX

When you have FSX open, file a flightplan through FSX to match the route you have just chosen.

When you have filed the FP, go back onto SimFly and view the routes page. Aircraft registrations will appear. I will use the standard B738 as an example.
The B738's registration is "G-DOCM". Select a 737-800 on FSX, and then enter this registration in the "Tail Number" field when you have selected the B738.

Enter the flightnumber in the field below the registration field, the one that you just wrote down earlier ^ Smile

Cool Open the AFTS Software (available for download http://www.SimFly.EU Home Page, on the left hand side) and load it up, login with your forum details.

Spawn in FSX at the airport, and check the open flights screen to amke sure your passengers have boarded, and make sure you have a flightnumber next to your username ( http://www.simfly.eu/afts2/index.php?action=ShowAllOpenFlights )

Finally, have fun, enjoy your flight and remember to drop your passengers off at the gate after a safe flight! Razz

cheers did my first flight from manchester to shannon airport with passengers lol it went well apart from a rough landing (I tried using auto approach but left it on GPS instead of NAV so my plane tried doing a steep climb which put me off the approach lol.

well, it gives me error #1 and it says cant find simconnect.dll anyone know what to do? i didnt install the service pack yet im going to do it now. and see if that willl work....

Nvm i figured that out, now i need help with with the system how do i record my houses, what games do i need to join to record my hours?

Would you have to be online? to record hours or can u also do it in Free flight? so many questains
