Some new routes Empty Some new routes

Post by Stansy Thu May 22, 2008 3:29 am

Hello guys,
I am going to submit this request over a series of messages so as to not lose a large chunk of work again.

New route status:
I've managed to tally > 10 flights for the following new routes, which means 20% PAX available for flight:
KSEA to KGEG
KGEG to KSEA
KPDX to KSEA
KSEA to KPDX
I've managed to tally ~ 20 flights for these routes:
KMCO to KMIA
KMIA to KMCO

to be continued...

Part 2:

The following new route request is made to accomplish the following goals:
1) Further Link-UK expansion and dominance in the AFTS world
2) Provide more variety for US based flights
3) Expose Link-UK pilots to some very challening approaches and weather
4) Create a circle route for the West coast of the US (not just to/from)
5) Allow Stan to have more fun

Here are the new routes for the circuit:
KGEG to KMSO
KMSO to KBOI
KBOI to KHLN
KHLN to KDEN
KDEN to KSLC
KSLC to KRNO
KRNO to KSFO

Next, a few new direct routes would be great:
KSEA to KDEN
KSEA to KSLC
KSEA to KRNO

Finally, a mini-circle for short flights
KPDX to KEAT
KEAT to CYVR
CYVR to CYYJ
CYYJ to KSEA

All in all I am requesting 14 new flights.

To Be Continued...

Some new routes Empty Re: Some new routes

My flight limitations:
I have reached the conclusion that certain flight lengths just aren't feasible for me, and thus have some route cancellation recommendations to make.
Some routes (> 3 hours) are just too long to do while sitting in front of the PC, while being too short (< 7 hours) to do while I sleep.

These are:
KORD to KSEA
KSEA to KORD
KMIA to KSEA
KSEA to KMIA

I will probably never fly these.

Well, that's the end of my big huge onerous request for new flights.
Let me know your thoughts and thanks for reading and considering my request.

Hey James,
I think a few of them slipped through the cracks. I was also hoping for those that made up the small circuit from my list above:

Finally, a mini-circle for short flights
KPDX to KEAT
KEAT to CYVR
CYVR to CYYJ
CYYJ to KSEA

rabbit

Thanks again!

Hello Gilboy,

Welcome to LinkUk Virtual.
We currently have a route EGNT-->LEAL (Newcastle to Alicante) on our schedules list, if you have a look here http://www.simfly.eu/afts2/index.php?action=ShowVASchedules&ID=LNK , our routes will show.

I'm assuming you're already signed up to SimFly.EU, yes?

Cheers,
James

1)
Make sure you are signed up for the server @ http://www.SimFly.EU.

2)
Click here; http://www.simfly.eu/afts2/index.php?action=ShowAllAirlines
And find "LinkUk Virtual". When found, click "Join Airline". If you dont see this, make sure you are logged into Simfly before trying to join Smile

3)
When you are logged in and your VA joining request has been accepted (may take an hour or so), you will recieve a confirmation Private Message telling you have been accepted into Link VA.

4)
Go back onto the AFTS ( http://www.SimFly.EU/afts2 ) and a "Schedules" page will appear. Decide which schedule you wish to fly, write down the number and open FSX

5)
When you have FSX open, file a flightplan through FSX to match the route you have just chosen.

6)
When you have filed the FP, go back onto SimFly and view the routes page. Aircraft registrations will appear. I will use the standard B738 as an example.
The B738's registration is "G-DOCM". Select a 737-800 on FSX, and then enter this registration in the "Tail Number" field when you have selected the B738.

7)
Enter the flightnumber in the field below the registration field, the one that you just wrote down earlier ^ Smile

Cool Open the AFTS Software (available for download http://www.SimFly.EU Home Page, on the left hand side) and load it up, login with your forum details.

9)
Spawn in FSX at the airport, and check the open flights screen to amke sure your passengers have boarded, and make sure you have a flightnumber next to your username ( http://www.simfly.eu/afts2/index.php?action=ShowAllOpenFlights )

10)
Finally, have fun, enjoy your flight and remember to drop your passengers off at the gate after a safe flight! Razz

Hope this helps,

Regards.
