Airplane wish list Empty Airplane wish list

Post by Stansy Fri May 02, 2008 8:56 am

Hey guys,
I often start a long range flight and head to bed, landing when I wake up, or also starting one right before I leave for work in the morning and landing when I get home at night. Thing is, with the passenger #'s increasing with advertising, I will be able to fly farther and carry more if we buy a Airbus 340-600. (I know... Kach$ng!)

So why don't I just fly the 747-400? Well, mainly because it take about 45 mins from startup to levelling off at cruise level where I need to set my cruise speed, and that means more difficult to do in the morning before work (both landing and taking off) But, with the Feelthere Wilco Airbus 2 series, I can program the FMS and take off, and at 1000' agl, engage the AP and immediately leave and the plane will fly all the way to the destination, using the correct speeds and vertical navigation. Much less time involved.

It's just a wish. I know it costs a boatload of Simcash so I am not going to hold my breath. Oh, and one more I would like to see for the short hops is ERJ-145 and ERJ 135.

Thanks for considering my request.

Thanks again for your input - it's much appreciated to have suggestions on how to improve.

I have added the A340-600 and the ERJ-145, and they should be available to fly anytime from now.

Airplane wish list Empty A346 & ERJ 145

Post by Stansy Sun May 04, 2008 8:03 pm

Sweet! Thank you very much! The 346 is a lot of fun to fly and so is the ERJ. Both are Wilco products and well worth the cash. (Although not every Wilco product is worth the paper that wraps it).

Yeh I agree, their Airbus products are great. Haven't tried the ERJ yet but will do soon.

hi, i know its a very very very very very very long shot but i was wondering in the very distant future if we could get a concorde, it would look great in link liveries and it also would do flights in half the time. Sorry i had to post this but i just love concorde Very Happy

No, we used to have a concorde in our fleet, but our main aim was to keep things realistic, so we sold it. Smile
