What aftermarket aircraft, if any, do i fly using FSX?
LinkUk Liveries - V2
I would guess that by the end of the month, the new livery will be released to be freely available for all link members to download. They will be little different from the existing ones, although they will have a logo/writing on the tail, and other slight design additions that have been suggested by fellow members.
The current livery design is below:
Any suggestions to this would be excellent, and their also may be a special livery release to add to these...
If anyone uses any freeware plane addons for FSX, if you send me the link for download, i will have a look at the model and see if it is suitable to repaint in the link colours - i'm currently looking at Project Opensky models to currently repaint, which are available to view @ http://www.projectopensky.com and if possible i will be looking to package these up with suitable panels that will work in FSX.
I have attached an anonymous poll, please select which aircraft that you use the most, that is not a default FSX aircraft.
Suggestions, comments, or anything you wish to be improved, give us a post on 'ere.
Cheers,
James

I fly the following aftermarket planes in FSX -
Wilco's Boeing 737-300/400/500
Wilco's Airbus A318/A319/A320/A310/A330/A340
Various POSKY aircraft (CRJ's, 737, 747, 757, 767, ERJ's), but with default FSX cockpits (as POSKY only make planes for FS9)
Abacus' A380 (yuk but only one I can find!)
PMDG's wonderful 747-400 (and as soon as they release it for FSX - their 737 NGX)
and occasionally some others like the Twin Otter, BAe-146, Embraer 120, etc.
BUT, I'd say I fly the above planes 30% of the time, and 70% of the time I fly the default a/c. This is simply because I don't always have the time to set up and monitor flights properly - it's nice to simply get in a default 738 and be in the air in a couple of minutes, stick it on AP, then come back 2 hours (or whatever) later and land the thing.
